A Despacho is a prayer bundle or offering.  It is an expression of gratitude and can be used for different purposes from honouring mother Earth, our ancestors, the elements or, in an individual healing context such as healing physical and emotional ailments to bring in harmony, balance and positive action into our life in the form of a White Despacho, or to release negativity and those things that no longer serve us with a Black Despacho. 

 

Black Despacho

A Black Despacho is lovingly created to release:

• Negative karma

• Resentment

• Patterns that no longer serve you

• Regret

• Unforgiveness

And to ask to come into full acknowledgement and relationship with it all.

 

You will need to bring a few items of things that represent what you want to release from your life and that which no longer serves you, plus some rotten vegetables to place in the Despacho. This Despatch connects with the totem animal of the powerful jaguar, the Mighty Otorongo.

 

White Despacho

A White Despacho is loving created for:

• Everything you want to call into your life

 

You will need to bring a few items with you such as pictures of money, a car, new home, travelling ideas etc – any items that represent good things you want to bring into your life.  For example: glitter for bringing fun and a sparkle into your life.  You will also need to bring some flowers to call in the beautiful magic which represent nectar for the totem animal of this Despacho, the beautiful hummingbird, the Royal Siwarkenti.
